Covent Garden is one of my favourite parts of London. I love the hectic bustling, I love the street performers and musicians, the market stalls and the bars.
Every time I come to Covent Garden I always walk past the giant paella thinking how good it smells but never actually try it. I will one day!
This lady had a stunning voice.
My pal arrived and we headed to the Top Secret Comedy Club at their new venue on Drury Lane. Every Saturday they have an early and late show which are only £5 and £10 respectively. Originally we were only booked to stay for the early show but then we found out Rich Hall was going to be the headline act of the evening so decided to stick around.
We watched 5 very different comedians for £15, now that is what I call a bargain. I was particularly impressed with Ola The Comedian. His non nonchalant attitude and perfect comedian timing was pure comedy genius and I’ll definitely be following him in future.
I certainly don’t think my photos have done Covent Garden justice on this occasion (I told you I still need lots of practice) but please take my word for it, its a fantastic part of London.
